Our Blog

In Math we are doing 2-D and 3-D shapes. We even made our own 3-D shape. We had to cut out the piece of paper and then fold and then tape it and decorate it.

We are also doing our times tables. We learned our 9's. We learned a trick: we fold our fingers and then it shows you the answer.

In Science we are doing the scientific method to help us. We will take those steps to do an experiment. I feel excited about the experiment we're going to do for the Science Fair. We haven't decided yet what one we're going to do.

In Social Studies we are learning about different tribes. Some lived in Orange County!

Lastly, we are learning the Our Father prayer in sign language. It's easy and fun to do. We do it almost every day in the morning.

  1. Hi Tristan,

Sounds like you are learning some pretty cool stuff in class. I'm very curious to know what tribes lived in Orange County! Do you like blogging about what you learned? I enjoyed reading your post and hope that you keep at it!

    Kind regards,

  2. Hi Tristan,
Your post was the first one I read from the class blog. I am excited about your discussion of the science fair and the scientific method. I have always thought science was really fun because doing experiments is sort of like working out a puzzle. I'm going to leave a comment on the post about which topic to pick too.
