This week we read about the "Blind Men and the Elephant". It is very cool and funny. It is about six blind men that want to see the Elephant, but they're all blind. It's a legend. They all touch different parts of the animal, and they think the entire elephant is like that.
We're learning about time, length, temperature, weight, mass and capacity.
We also have accounts so we can buy toys, book covers and other stuff. We also read books (chapter books).
We make summary paragraphs with a title, the author's name, and our recommendation at the end.
We have Religion before snack time. If you want to bring your kids here to Annunciation Catholic School, they will have fun.
Sincerely,
Ericka
Ericka, that is so exciting to see what you and your peers are learning about. This is a great reflection of what you learned in class and it is great that you are sharing it with the world. Look forward to more posts from you and your class.
ReplyDeletecan we do another one.
ReplyDeleteHi Erica,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing what you're learning. I like that story about the elephant. It's a good reminder that sometimes we don't see the whole picture. I went to college with Mrs. Gowan. Ask her to tell you about going to the orphanage, La Roca in Mexico. =)
Hello Ericka, this is your mom Gloria. I am very proud of you and your class. The blogs from you and everyone in your classroom are great. I love you Ericka and keep doing good at school. See you home.
