My Final Blog

I learned that in 3rd grade learns about mult and div. The 3rd grade class helpers. I'm First aid + subsitute. Substitute is when someone is missing and I dp their job. We also do blogs . It's pretty cool when you type it on the laptops. We are learning about Science. It is cool. We watch videos about the planets. They're cool too.

My Building

My building for the project is the Amerige brothers office. It is located at Amerige park where Saint Mary's is and the Police Department is. It is a tiny house and it looks like you can't live in it but the Amerige Brothers had their office there. You can not go in it it is locked from back and front. People used to work there. The first people to work there was George and Edward Amerige (the Amerige Brothers). We had to present all our buildings in a project.

What I'm Looking Foward To

  I'm looking forward to going to 4th grade because I think it is fun.  The 4th grade teacher says they do a lot of projects. I like projects only if they are easy and does not have a lot of stuff.  In 4th grade when we switch we don't have religion, we do math but we still have religion at a different time of day.  I would also like to go to 4th grade because it is a new grade.

Summer Blog

For summer I wish I could go to Disneyland and stay at a hotel there. Then I don't have to worry about having to leave for days. Then I could ride on some of rides. Then I could eat some treats. Then I could see the fireworks. When I leave I will feel sad but at least I will be home, calm, and safe. Then I will watch t.v. or go to bed.

Spring

This spring break I went to my grandma's house and had a sleep over. I had so much fun since a bunch of my uncles live there . My mom and dad went there too, I think they liked it too. We had a fire and s'mores it was great! The s'mores were good i had two because i didn't want any more. I went to bed with one uncle . We were planning to stay up all night except he wanted to go bed because it was two in the morning or he was just tired.

My First Commuinon

When it was my first Communion I was nervous because we had to sing. I held the wine and gave it to the priest. Then I bowed and he blessed me. When it was time to take the bread I  was only a little nervous . I liked the body not the blood. When it was over we had a after party at a cool restaurant with my family.

Religion Blog

This week in Religion we have been meditating with Mrs.Oram  our Religion teacher.But we only did it once.This week we are also  learning the Ten Commandments.Since it is Lent we have been reading the Bible about how Jesus died. We have not been using our Religion books lately and we have been talking more often.

The Sciences Fair Nicks expirement

At the Science Fair I was looking for something to write about and I chose Nicks because it looked fun.Nick is in 6th grade. Nick's problem was "will putting extra holes in mentos make the geyser higher.?"Nicks hypothesis was"Putting4 untouched mentos then he poked 10 holes in the 4 mentos then he poked 20 holes in 4 other mentos Nicks hypothesis was" more holes in mentos will allow more bubbles to form and will result in a higher geyser. Nick used a gragh to show us his results, his hypothesis was not correct and was correct.It was both because the geyser did'nt rise right away,but it took a little while for it to rise.I like the experiment because he used mentos my favorite mints.The experiment worked best withmentos poked 10 times.

4th graders missions

We went to the art room to look at the 4th grader's mission's. They were studying C.A. mission's.I like this mission because it looks good. Santa Ines was founded on September 17 1804. It was founded in Southern C.A. When the earthquake happened the mission broke and the Spaniards came and took over the mission and the Indians had to live outside the mission.This mission was built by ADRIAN a 4th grader.

When I Went to the Wax Musem

Wayne Gretzky was a famous hockey player. He scored 302 goals in a season. He scored 10 goals in a game. And he got rewarded a lot of trophies. The wax museum were'nt real wax statues they were the 7th graders. Wayne Grestzky was a good scorer in hockey. He was not a goal keeper.

Andrew's blog

In math were learning about 3D shapes and measurement. In science we are learning about scientific method. The shapes we've learned about are cube, sphere, cone, cylinder, pyramid, and rectangular prism. First in the scientific method is observe, collect and organize data, ask questions, hypothizie, experiment, if results match hypothisis conclude, if results don't match hypothisis change, and try again.

First Week of 2011

This week in Math we are learning about multiplication.
* we are studying our 2's, 5's and 10's
* we made flash cards to help us study

In Social Studies we are learning about Native American Tribes from Orange County.
* Some of them lived in our town, Fullerton
* Some ate insects, animals and mush made from acorns
* The Fullerton tribe was called the Shoshonean Tribe

In Science we are growing our own plants: avocado, beans and sweet potato.
* Some of our plants have grown roots
* Some of the avocado pits are starting to crack and peel
* We are making observations using touch, smell and sight
